Yes. Orbit works with any Highcharts chart. If you’re an existing Highcharts customer, you can start experimenting immediately once you have the code. New to Highcharts? You can download it free for evaluation and development purposes.

During the preview, the Orbit module is restricted to authorized domains. Sign up below and we’ll get you set up with access for your own environment.

The AI-powered features (Insights, Narrator, AI Assistant, and Alt. Visualization) send your chart configuration and data to the Orbit backend for processing. No personal data is collected, and no chart content is stored. All other tools run entirely in the browser, and nothing leaves your environment. If your organization has restrictions on external data processing, you can disable the AI features entirely and use the rest of Orbit without any data leaving the browser.

Yes. Most of Orbit’s tools run entirely client-side in the browser and require no AI whatsoever. Forecasting, anomaly detection, correlations, summary stats, derived series, indicators, filter & focus, data grid, and present all work independently of any AI features. The AI tools (Insights, Narrator, AI Assistant, and Alt. Visualization) are optional and can be enabled or disabled independently via configuration.
